Comp-split calculator for a new PMHNP or therapist hire

Model what a new clinician costs and earns for your practice: revenue split, per-visit, hourly or salary plus bonus, with overhead, payroll costs and a month-by-month ramp-up.

Example values, not benchmarks. Every number pre-filled below is an illustrative example so the calculator works out of the box. It is not a typical or recommended rate. Replace each one with your own figures. Runs entirely in your browser; nothing you type is sent or stored. Not legal or tax advice.

Figures are per month. Visits per month = visits per week × working weeks ÷ 12. Volume rises in a straight line from the starting % to 100% over the ramp months. Cash in a given month is what was earned the chosen number of months earlier. Split and billing fees are calculated on cash received. Per-visit, hourly and salary pay are owed in the month the work is done. Payroll tax is applied as a flat % (the Social Security wage base and FUTA cap are ignored). This is a planning estimate, not an accounting or tax calculation.
